Plains District Memorial Museum
Plains District Memorial Museum, founded in 1998, and located in historic Timberville is full of the memorabilia and artifacts of life in the central Shenandoah Valley. The museum preserves local heritage and brings the communities of the Plains District of Rockingham County together.
Plains District Memorial Museum is a lively small town museum filled with a permanent colletion and constantly revolving displays of “life as it was.” Plains District is comprised of the small towns, including Broadway and Timberville, connected by the North Fork of the Shenandoah River
