Harrisonburg Rescue Squad

Since 1949, the Harrisonburg Rescue Squad has protected the lives of our fellow citizens. The services they provide include emergency care on basic and advanced life support levels, heavy and light duty vehicle rescue, and specialized technical rescue.

Harrisonburg Rescue Squad volunteers take pride in providing extensive life-saving services with absolutely no paid staff, administrative or operational. They have over 120 active volunteer members and respond to over 6700 calls-for-service per year.
