Valley AIDS Network

Founded in 1989, Valley AIDS Network strives to compassionately meet the needs of individuals diagnosed with HIV/AIDS with a goal of moving them toward better health and self sufficiency. They assist individuals who have tested HIV/AIDS positive and need help with managing their disease or paying bills that have been accumulated due to the disease.

Valley AIDS Network hopes to raise awareness and prevent the spread of the virus through education and to serve as an advocate for those affected by the AIDS epidemic throughout the Central Shenandoah Vally. With decreasing federal funding and a very small staff, they welcome and appreciate volunteers who would like to share their time, talent and compassion.
