Industrial and Commercial Ministries

Since 1972, Industrial and Commercial Ministries has provided ecumenical training and placement and equipped and supported clergy and laity as volunteer chaplains to serve people where they perform their daily labor.  They seek to share the message of God’s care and compassion and to enhance the sensitivity of persons to the changing nature of the contemporary workplace.

Industrial and Commercial Ministries chaplains serve our area and the rest of Virginia as a supportive presence, lending a listening ear and providing effective referral to those in need.  The interactions between Chaplains and individuals are always confidential and always free.
