Arts Council of the Valley

The Arts Council of the Valley was formed in December 2000 to champion artistic excellence and establish the arts as the foundation of a vibrant community. Along with their Court Square Theater, they expand the community’s cultural vocabulary and advance a greater appreciation of all the arts.

The Arts Council employs the arts in enrichment of community life by: promoting the creation of the arts; supporting and delivering arts-related programs and events; collaborating with other arts-related organizations; developing and encouraging opportunities for arts education; serving as a liaison between artists and audiences; and advocating for greater resources for the arts. If you love theater, enjoy working with people, or both, Court Square Theater is currently seeking volunteers ready to assist visitors and local arts entusiasts.
