Valley Associates for Independent Living

Founded in 1987, Valley Associates for Independent Living (VAIL) provides community-based support services for people with disabilities. They are a Center for Independent Living that utilizes a cross-disability, consumer-directed perspective that promotes choice and self advocacy.

Valley Associates for Independent Living provides independent living skills training and supported employment services in the individual’s home or at their job. At least 51% of their staff and board of directors are disabled to ensure that people with disabilities play an integral role in shaping the services that impact their lives.
