The Community Foundation of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County

The Community Foundation of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County was established in 1998 for the purpose of developing philanthropic funds for our community’s benefit. Distributions from these funds to area nonprofit agencies are used to address issues of concern that affect our quality of life…today and for years to come.

The Community Foundation offers a variety of simple, flexible, and effective options for those who wish to provide financial support to our community through philanthropy. Funds are established or bequeathed by individuals and families. Funds can also come from nonprofit organizations and corporations. Funds are pooled and managed by a team of investment professionals.
