Boys & Girls Clubs of Harrisonburg-Rockingham County
Boys & Girls Clubs of Harrisonburg & Rockingham County was established in 1996 to provide after school prgrams for children in grades K-12. They have centers throughout their sevice area, mostly at schools, to inspire and enable all young people, especially those that need it most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens and leaders.
Boys & Girls Clubs provide a constructive environment during the high-risk hours of 3-8 p.m. During those hours, their staff and volunteers give children a sense of belonging, a sense of usefulness, a sense of power or influence and a sense of competence while enhancing their educational experience.
