Salvation Army

Founded in 1925, Salvation Army provides shelter, clothes, food, counseling, job search assistance, and spiritual guidance. They meet the needs of those caught in emergencies, those down trodden and less fortunate, those abused, and all who have lost their way in Harrisonburg-Rockingham County.

The Salvation Army volunteers devote their time and talents, providing social services, rehabilitation centers, disaster services, and worship opportunities. In addition, there are character building activities and groups for all ages.
