People Helping People

People Helping People is a cooperative ministry of area churches that finds help for people in times of trouble in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, Virginia. They are volunteers who coordinate helping services for persons/families in need.

People Helping People has volunteers trained to interview and assess needs. They help persons/families obtain assistance directly, refer them to other available services and/or offer limited financial assistance in order to improve the quality of their lives.
