HARTS - Harrisonburg-Rockingham Thermal Shelter

HARTS - Harrisonburg-Rockingham Thermal Shelter was created to address a gap in shelter services identified by community advocates. It is a shelter of last resort for people who have no other place to sleep.

HARTS currently provides shelter during the winter months in partnership with religious organizations who act as hosts and provide the space, two meals and fellowship. HARTS provides safe, temporary housing services which is inclusive and works toward “accommodating” the homeless needs.
