First Night Harrisonburg

Since 1992, First Night Harrisonburg has provided an alcohol free alternative to the customary New Year’s Eve. It is a community celebration of the arts and the new year.

First Night Harrisonburg believes that the arts represent the purest and best in humanity and that by sharing an evening of arts they highlight our commonalities and strengthen our community. They need volunteers both on the night of the event and in the weeks leading up to New Year’s Eve.
