Cat’s Cradle

Cat’s Cradle was formed in 1998 as a response to the overpopulation of cats in the area because there is no cause of death greater for a cat than being in a shelter.  Cat’s Cradle as a no-kill organization works to lower the birth rate and thereby reduces the number of cats going into the shelters. Cat’s Cradle assists the public with spay/neuter via financial assistance, transportation and as well as trap, neuter and return if the cats are not tame.  Cat’s Cradle, also, transfers animals from high kill shelters in the surrounding counties to lower euthanasia rates.  The cats and kittens are placed in foster homes, vetted, i. e. tested, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and treated for parasites, and then are available for adoption.  Cat’s Cradle also, helps the public to retain or re-home their cats to prevent them from entering the shelter.
